Have you ever been in a situation where you were headed to a destination, and it seemed as if the road, the street, the path was the right one?
Things seem steady and familiar as if you were headed in the right direction. However, the more you go along, you start realizing that something isn’t right, something isn’t adding up and boom, it hits you. This is not the right way. It’s like you had an epiphany, like a light bulb went off and you begin to reflect where did I go wrong? How did I miss all the signs? Why didn’t anything stick out to me in the beginning?
The Path You Choose
Now you find yourself turning around and trying to make sense of everything, as you move slowly back on the right path. That path that feels right in your spirit, soul and body. There may be hiccups, but there is peace during the whole journey.
I want you to know that if you’ve ventured off, it is okay. Maybe you were distracted, maybe you were being led by your own desires and what you thought was best for you, but God is with you to impress the gentle nudges to look around to perceive your surroundings until one day the scales are removed, and you see just how far you ventured off.
Oftentimes, these moments come in stillness. When you are reflecting on your bed at night or sitting in your car at the traffic light or maybe in the company of others and your mind drifts and you perceive a divine download. Wherever or whenever it happens, there is grace and mercy that is bestowed and restoration that our Father gives us when we come to him to be lifted out of the things we got ourselves into, and to be restored bigger and greater than before.
The Knowing
Remind yourself, that no matter what has happened, that God is making this thing work out for my good. There are lessons learned, insight given, and strength imparted to grow into an even better person.
Here are a few verses I want to share with you to uplift and encourage you. Meditate on the word of God and write out what comes up for you.
