You know, sometimes we can be in the middle of our day, and say, “what just happened?” as if things just begin to occur with no notice or announcement. Have you ever been there? Or maybe it seems that things that you could have taken possession of are taken longer than you expected to manifest.
I realize that we have to take charge over our day. We have to speak what we want to see. We have to write out a plan, a vision and declare that any hindrance to the plan of God for our life is broken in the name of Jesus.
There may have been things that have been owed to you or lost time because of distractions, people, trials, miscommunication, deception. Whatever it is, in spite of that, those things are still yours. It’s time to take back what belongs to you. Take back your time, take back your resources, take back everything that is due to you.
I’m reminded of the verse in John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
The thief, the embezzeler, the false teachers, people, relationships, things only come to steal your joy, your peace, your sanity, but Jesus has come that we are restored, that we have life, that we have peace, that we have joy, that we have understanding, purpose, and confidence in Him.
We can only experience true abundance and fullness in life through Jesus Christ. He is the doorway that leads to green pastures. He is the way, the truth and the life.
In Joel verse 2:25, it states, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, an the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you, and ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.”
God will restore to you even more than what you lost. It will be even better than before. I know at times it’s hard for us to forgive or move forward because the thought of that thing keeps poking its nasty head, but God has promised that he will restore unto us the years that have been eaten and we shall be satisfied.
Even in Proverbs, 6:31 it says not to despise a thief, those things you’ve lost, because when a thief is caught he shall restore sevenfold and the substance of his household.
Ask God for boldness in this time, that you go after what is yours. You take back what is yours. You show up in the confidence, wisdom, and boldness of God and receive your restoration. Be Blessed!
