It was one early morning and I was in prayer and meditation and I begin to meditate on Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added on to you.” In meditating on this scripture, I was reflecting on all the things that I had been desiring to do, to become, to evolve in and I dived deeper in what does this scripture really mean concerning where I am. To seek out a thing is to meditate on it, to think upon it, to inquire of it, to crave it, to demand. That is why meditation is so important because God has given us His promises towards us through His word, for every situation in your life there is already an answer, a solution.
In 1 Kings 3:13, Solomon inquired wisdom from the Lord, and the Lord responded, “And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour; so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.” Solomon was seeking, craving, inquiring wisdom from God, and he received the royal power, kinship, authority above what he even asked or imagined. Seeking after the Kingdom and His righteousness gives you authority, gives you the power, approval, clean consciousness to obtain those things to which you desire. That’s why the word of God says seek ye first, and everything you could possibly imagine or think of will divinely align for you in your life.
