New Beginning

I’ve been reflecting on this topic since April, but now wanted to share. I want to talk to you about New Beginning. I was in the kitchen one morning and the blinds were open. I looked out and saw this beautiful robin flying and mounting itself on the ground. I watched it as it walked slowly upon the ground and then it happened. It quickly stuck its beak in the dirt and pulled out this worm.

I told my son to run over and look. I was amazed at this. Even the robins know when to harvest. It knows its time and seasons. It listens and feels for the vibrations of movement under its feet. It strikes with precision, and is always watching to see the next movement.

I began to reflect on this and was reminded of the verse in Proverbs, 6:6-8, “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways and be wise. Which having no chief, overseer or ruler, provides her food in the summer and gathers her supplies in the harvest.”

Both have something major in common, they know their seasons. They know when to sow and they know when to reap. They know that when they go out for the day. God has supplied their needs. He is their creator. How much more for you? A son, a daughter of the Most High.

Matthew 7:11 states, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

Do you believe that you can have a new beginning? That when you allow God to work through you, and you stand in faith, taking actions steps each day, that he will provide your every need. I understand that sometimes you may get discouraged or you may not see a way out or wondering when the breakthrough, the help will happen for you. I want to remind you that if God can provide for the robin for the ant, He will provide for you, your family, your household. Are you acting in faith? Are you showing up each day knowing that the way is made for you? Acting as if it is already yours.

One thing I noticed about both the ant and the robin is that there was movement. There was observation, there was patience, knowing that what they needed had already been supplied and they got up and went after it.

Get up and go after what God has released for you to receive. It’s already yours! You have to believe it, you have to act like it, you have to exercise your faith and know you are worthy of having it, stewarding over it, and cultivating it to grow!

In what ways are you acting on faith for the prayers you have lifted up to God? Write it out and ask God to give you the wisdom to empower you through it. Be Blessed!
