My day started off a little rocky. Have you ever had those moments where you were taking mental notes of everything you have to do, and it was popping up in seconds in your mind. It could feel like overload.
I told myself that the things that I would typically cancel because of fear or anxiousness, that I would still move forward with them. Sometimes, we cancel things or delay them and later wish we had done it. Do it and get it over with. That being said; I want to talk to you about being in motion.
I managed to get through everything that morning. It is so amazing to me how God can sometimes use strangers to speak life into you, and it be the very thing you need to hear. I had that moment today right before the person ended the phone call. The words she spoke released something in me, I just broke out crying. I felt so seen.
Even in the most chaotic moments, God always assures you of His peace and presence that is with you.
I finished the work day and was so excited to go to the gym. Gym is part of therapy these days. You are surrounded by people with the same mission, endurance and tenacity to push through their workout. You can sense and see their acts of discipline, and it is so empowering. I overheard a coach with his client, and the way he empowered her was priceless. Oftentimes, we want to take the easy way out, the way of comfort, the way that just gets us by, not realizing that it will hurt us in the end, and then we wonder why we don’t have results.
Results come every act and step of discipline you make each day.
I felt so refreshed that I took time after giving so much of myself to pour back into me. To water me. I pray that you take this as a good seed to make time in your day to water you. You deserve it. You give so much as a woman as a mom. Pause and ask yourself, if I don’t pour back into me, who will? It’s time to get in motion.
Every step you take leads to growth, and every movement creates momentum.
I’ve gotten back to journaling. My latest journal has truly inspired me to keep going. You can check it out here: https://a.co/d/0u7eUzi
It’s something that stirs within you when you begin to see yourself how God sees you. Not in your current state, but what he says about you. That’s encouragement enough to make your vision plain before him, that He establishes it. After the gym, I just took time to begin to journal out what I want to see. God has so much in store for us, but we let the weight of the world and difficult people distract us. There are people who exist who will love and support you for YOU. Sometimes when we deal with one or two people who are difficult or disrespectful it seems like that is all there is, but that is FALSE. There are kind people in this world, people who will love you and support you. Sometimes you just have to switch up your surroundings, your environment a bit and you will see. Ask God to see more of His goodness in your day. He will show you and be open to receiving. I pray this has encouraged you today. Be Blessed.
