I was riding home one day thinking upon what just happened to me moments before. I remember screaming, “what is it, what do I need to learn?” Oftentimes, we go into new environments, new situations, new careers with the old mindset and way of thinking. I begin to realize that I was still carrying past hurt and past trauma with me into new environments and wondering why I’m enduring the same situations as before. It is not the people all the time, sometimes it is YOU. I begin to think and track how long I’ve been feeling like this and where the root of it came from.
Oftentimes, when we sit and really meditate on why something is happening, and why we are experiencing the same situations; you will begin to realize that something has to be dealt with, and it’s the old mindset. In meditation, this a scripture came to mind.
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19
“And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. Luke 5:37-38
God is doing a new thing with you, do not be distracted by old mindsets and beliefs, be cleansed by the Father to walk into the greatness He has for you.
