I was laying in bed one night and the Holy Spirit impressed upon me, being transformed by the renewing of your mind. I asked for better understanding, and I began to meditate on what it really means to be transformed in the mind. The word transform means to be transfigured, to metamorphose; to renew is the complete change for the better. There is so much coming through our ear gates and our eye gates each day. It can even become overwhelming. The word of God states not to be conformed, fashioned to, taking upon the pattern on the world and seeing through the lens of your problems, your trauma, your doubt, your unbelief, but to be transfigured, renewed in your spirit and in your mind, to have the mind of Christ, to view your life how God views it. “And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2. KJV.
Your Father in Heaven desires the utmost best for you. Yield your life to Him every day, communing with the Holy Spirit that you will be led in the right direction, towards the right people. Allow yourself to be strengthened by God that He will empower your spirit to perceive the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit that your life aligns with His perfect will for you. This also requires you to take off the old mindset, your old way of thinking and doing things, your old routine, but putting on the newness of Christ, allowing Him to transform you from the inside out. “And have put on the new man which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.” Colossians 3:10 KJV
Our way of thinking has to change in how we view life and our present situations, not to focus on what we don’t have and what has not happened, but be renewed by the word of God and His promises towards us that our faith is built.
