Be Bold. Be Courageous.
Today was such a great shift for me. I made plans last month regarding my vision. I wrote down my vision and I prayed and gave it to God. God will bless the work of your hands, but what are your hands?
I was at a point in my life that I felt that I was in such a routine. I was deeply desiring newness in my life. It was not until my mentor asked if I had written out a plan. I was reminded of the scripture Habakkuk 2:2 which says, “write the vision and make it plain on tables.” That night I sat on my prayer mat and prayed over my vision and I made goals that had intentional steps of faith. One of my major goals was to reinvent everything. I decided to book a photo-shoot and buy a bright pink pantsuit which I’ve never worn before.
The photo-shoot was destined to happen. The studio was as if I walked into a 3-D version of my vision I wrote down before God. The theme went perfectly with the theme of my website which the photographer had no idea of. I felt such a stirring in my spirit when the photo-shoot was done. I kept just saying Father I thank you, let your light shine forth in every picture that when people see these photos they see your image. Once the shoot was done and I was on the way home the scripture Joshua 1:9 dropped in my spirit and at that moment I knew I had made the first step into my purpose. The one thing I put off for so long, that felt intimidating, was the one thing God was pushing me to do. I encourage you to be bold in the things of God. Those plans he has given you, those ideas, those businesses, be courageous and go after them so that God be glorified. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
