Life moves fast. Between work, family, and everything in between, it’s easy to get caught up in the daily rush. Maybe you’ve taken a moment to look back at 2025 and noticed things you haven’t accomplished yet, goals unfinished, plans delayed, or dreams that still feel out of reach.
And if you’re feeling a little disappointed, take heart. You’re not behind. You’re growing.
Remember this truth: you are God’s garden.
Just like a garden, your growth requires time, care, and patience. Some seasons are for planting, some for pruning, and others for resting and letting your roots grow deeper. The beauty of it all? God is the Gardener, and you are co-laboring with Him.
So don’t give up. You can re-strategize. You can hit the ground running. You can put on your grown woman shoes and show up for your life, knowing you are on assignment with God.
Get Crystal Clear
It’s time to get honest, with yourself and with God. Write down the things you’ve been keeping in your head, the ones that make you cringe a little to even admit out loud.
Ask yourself:
- Why do I really want that career?
- Why do I truly want to lose the weight?
- Why do I feel led to move to that new place?
When you write it out, you create space for clarity. And clarity brings confidence. When you know why something matters to you, the how becomes easier to figure out.
Clean Up Your Space
Sometimes, breakthrough starts with a clean room.
Your environment reflects your mindset. If your car, purse, or office is cluttered, it can weigh you down mentally and spiritually. Take some time to declutter your space, your home, your workspace, even that “catch-all” drawer.
When your home feels peaceful and safe, you can think clearer. You make room for new ideas, new energy, and new blessings.
Revisit Your Vision
What’s on your 2025 vision board? Maybe it’s a list in your phone, a note in your journal, or a piece of paper tucked inside your Bible. Pull it back out and take a look.
Celebrate the boxes you’ve checked, even if it’s just one thing.
Reevaluate the ones that aren’t done yet. Are they still obtainable? Do you have the capacity for them? Do you still want them?
Remember, your vision can evolve. Growth sometimes means releasing what no longer aligns with who you’re becoming.
You’re not doing this journey alone. You are co-laboring with God. Invite Him into your plans, your goals, your schedule. Ask Him to guide your steps and order your path.
Then, surrender the outcome. Let go of the rush, the fear, and the pressure to have it all figured out. Instead, take intentional, faith-filled steps forward, armed with a plan, a prayer, and a heart ready to finish strong.
You are God’s garden.
He’s tending to you, watering, pruning, and preparing you for growth even in the quiet seasons where it feels like nothing’s happening.
Stay rooted. Stay faithful. And show up for your life like you know you’re on assignment with Him. Be Blessed.
