Ever have those moments when life just doesn’t make sense? When you can’t seem to get a grasp on what’s happening, and everything around you feels blurry or out of place? I’ve had one of those weeks and I want to encourage you.
I’ve been trying to understand what’s been unfolding in my life lately. You know those times when you’re doing all the right things praying, reading God’s Word, spending time with Him yet you’re still waiting for an answer that doesn’t seem to come? Deep down, you know God always answers, but somehow, this time feels different. There’s a resistance in the air. The things happening around you don’t make sense, and you find yourself overthinking at night, replaying moments, flipping through your journal or scrolling through old notes, just trying to piece it all together.
But here’s the truth: God is working, even when it doesn’t make sense. He’s not absent, He’s leading you to trust Him more deeply than ever before.
God has you in His hands. There is nothing under the sun that escapes His sight. He sees it all your confusion, your tears, your questions. He is your protector, your healer, and your steady anchor when everything feels uncertain. You are not in this alone. You are covered. You are protected.
I was reminded of Psalm 23:4:
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.”
Do you believe that?
God will never leave you stranded. People might. Organizations might. Even those close to you might. But God never will. Sometimes, right at the breaking point when you’re ready to give up, close the laptop, or whisper “I can’t do this anymore” God shows up gently and reminds you:
“I am with you.”
I know it’s hard. You’ve tried resetting. You’ve done the shopping therapy, the cozy coffee, the deep breaths. But I want you to know this: God has not forgotten you. There’s a bigger story unfolding a bigger picture being painted, even if you can’t see it yet.
So take a moment. Sit with that truth. Let the tears fall if they need to. Feel the release and let it go. Then remind yourself:
No matter what I see around me, God is still working in my life. God is with me, and I am not doing life alone.
Be blessed. Know. You’re held, seen, and deeply loved.
If this spoke to you today, I’d love to hear from you. How has God reminded you of His presence in a season that didn’t make sense? Share your story in the comments or send me a message your words might be exactly what someone else needs to hear today.
