Give Space to Get understanding

Let’s talk about what it means to give space. We can be so busy to the point of burn-out, exhaustion, and mental overload. We fill our day with so many things, even at times distracting us from what we really need to focus on.

It can even be in relationships where we put so much focus on the other person that we forget about ourselves and what we need and our own personal journey. I’ve realized that when you give space, you allow clarity to come in. When you take a step back and talk to God about your circumstances, He is able to give you divine understanding.

Clarity and Understanding

Clarity is the quality of being clear and easily understood. It helps to give and receive accurate direction. A lot of times, we can allow our emotions and our past experiences or even the fear of letting go get in the way of perceiving things with clarity. There is so much that God has in store for us, and it is important that we do not get distraction by people, hurt, pain, and circumstances that may arise.

Proverbs 1:5

“The wise also will hear an increase in learning, and the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain sound counsel, so that he may be able to steer his course rightly.”

When you talk to God about your situation and you fellowship with Him. He always answers. He will give you instruction, the Holy Spirit will intercede even on your behalf, when you don’t know how to put it in words. It’s important that we approach situations in life humbly because there might be something we need to learn from it or something that God is pruning out of our lives.

It may not always be easy, but God will strengthen you through it. He knows what is best for you, He has prepared something great and there is a version of you that needs to arise that you have the capacity to carry and steward over it.

1 Kings 3:9

“So give your servant an understanding mind and a hearing heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and bad. For who is able to judge and rule this is your great people.”

God came to Solomon in a dream, and asked what is it that I can give to you? Solomon did not ask for the scattering of his enemies nor did he ask for wealth. He asked for an understanding mind as he led God’s people to judge and discern.

God wants us to seek and pray for His understanding and wisdom concerning our life. We have to know that we can not do this journey alone. There are desires He has placed in our heart and some of them seem impossible to our natural eyes. That is why it is important to seek Him for guidance and direction. We surrender our will for His perfect will to be made manifest in our lives. God loves us so much. He cares for us and will strengthen us on our journey.

I pray that this has encouraged you today. You can check out more on this topic here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L9RASsNQq4&feature=youtu.be
