Do Not Grow Weary In Well Doing

It’s easy to want to give up when you run into hiccups in life or the thing that you thought will take up off rapidly is taking a little more time to cultivate. Anything worth having is worth treasuring, worth cultivating, worth growing.

I’m reminded of this whenever you start a journey. It is just like a seed being planted in soil. You have to put it in an ideal environment, ensuring it receives sunlight, making sure the seed is watered or it’s like working out, you may not see results the same day, but continuous effort, consistently showing up; and tearing your muscles so that can be rebuilt those results will begin to show physically.

I’ve been meditating on Proverbs 8:33, “Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.”

We have to hearken unto the word and instruction of God. Seeking him daily, gaining insight and foresight for our lives, our family, our business, ministry, what have you. Waiting eagerly to hear from him to gain divine wisdom and counsel so that we walk on the path He has for us, that we begin to see true progress in our lives.

When you obtain Godly wisdom, you find life, you find substance, you find favor. That when you begin a thing there is peace and rest because you have consulted God; it’s His plan for your life and you are the steward.

There is an abundant life God has for us. When you abide in him, and allow him to abide in you, you will find the treasures He has for you. You will know that you do not walk alone. You are not in this by yourself. You have a counselor, you have a teacher, you have a friend that is with you through it all. Be encouraged, ask for wisdom as you are progressing through this life. Be Blessed!
