Don’t Run From The Truth

Don’t run from the truth! That in itself will set someone free. Oftentimes when we are hurt by people or continuously find ourselves in situations that are triggering which can unveil something deeper in our lives.

That is why it is important to observe, to be still and receive the revelation of why things are happening over and over to you. The more you run, the more you will typically face that same situation. It may be through different faces, different situations, but the same issue.

I begin to meditate on Ecclesiastes Ch. 7. In this chapter there is so much wisdom that is given. Here are some key points I would like to share with you.

In Ecclesiastes, Ch. 7 vs 3, “Sorrow is better than laughter for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.” It is better to have the truth given to you, that you repent and start making changes in your life. A lot of the times the truth can hurt, and it also could be that we love being in what feels comfortable to us. Once the truth of what is crippling us and holding us in continuous cycles is revealed; you begin to have freedom and make the necessary changes in your life and be renewed.

Have wisdom when you are navigating life circumstances because oftentimes there is something that you need to learn. Know that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. In Ecclesiastes 7:20, it states, “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.”

Ask God to cleanse you, cleanse your conscience that you are made new and a right spirit is renewed in you. Let your heart be applied to seek, search and know the wisdom of God, that you may be guided in every single circumstance that you face.

If you have fallen or have been discouraged and not as focused as you would like to be at the beginning of the year; Get Back Up and Start Again. Start again with God leading you; surrender what you know, what you’ve tried, and let a new work begin in you. Be Blessed!
