Have you ever held onto something so tight because you were afraid of how it would be without it? Or staying somewhere too long because you didn’t know how it would be perceived if you left or thoughts of feeling left out. Oftentimes, God will press upon you that it is time let go or move on. You may feel like the circumstances you are in right now have heightened, that you are dealing with frustrations left and right. It can even be a physical location that you no longer feel comfortable in. You will know when it is time to let go of what used to be and what was, so that you can walk into the fullness of what God has for you. Recently, I had to make a decision. It was on my heart for a couple of months, but I stayed and stayed crying, praying, and fighting through the obstacles until one day I made a decision to let God lead me and align me into what He has for me. You may be dealing with a similar situation today. Here are five bible verses that will encourage you through this transition into God’s best for you.
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.” Ecclesiastes 3: 1-6.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6
“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: and be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:31-32
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.” Exodus 23:20
