Have you ever just sat and reflected on your day to day routines? There is a vast amount of things that we have set before us in each day. There was a moment where I realized how mapped out my routine was. I would get up, take my son to school, make coffee, log online for work, make lunch, pick my son up from school, cook dinner and prepare for bed, and start it all over again the next day. It was a cycle. I was doing the same thing every day with no enjoyment, only complaints. I was reminded of the passage in Ecclesiastes 2:24, “ There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labor. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.”
The blessing of God makes us rich and addeth no sorrow. So is this routine what God has ordained? That is a great point to reflect on. God has called us to live an abundant like, where boundaries lines fall down for us in pleasant places, where the work of our hands are blessed, and we enjoy the fruit of our labor. What are the things God is calling for you to do that you have ignored? Oftentimes, you can look around your life and know that you need a shift or it’s time to move from out of where you are. God gives us wisdom by His Holy Spirit to lead us on the path of discretion on the path of insight so that we walk in His perfect will for our lives. Today, receive God’s best for you and have enjoyment in the life He has given you.
